Upcoming Events Preview
The second half of 2025 is just as packed—and just as important—as the first.
We’re thrilled to announce our next major civic event: a Legislative Update Community Meeting on October 1st at the Miami Women’s Club, right in Margaret Pace Park, at 5:30PM. This landmark gathering will feature State Representatives Vicki Lopez and Dotie Joseph, along with City of Miami Commissioner Damian Pardo. Together, they’ll provide crucial updates on state and local legislation directly affecting Edgewater—from housing and infrastructure to public safety and development. This is the first time these three officials will appear together at a BNA event—you won’t want to miss this milestone evening. We will keep you updated with a link to register as the space will be limited.

Before that, we’re hitting the streets (and parks) for our biggest cleanup of the year:
🌍 International Coastal & Neighborhood Cleanup
🗓 September 20th, 9AM
📍 Edgewater & Margaret Pace Park
Registration opens the first week of August! Students can earn community service hours, with official certificates provided to all volunteers.

And don’t forget: our neighborhood-favorite Trunk or Treat returns in late October, bringing festive fun, decorated car trunks, costumes, and a safe, family-friendly Halloween celebration. More information will be shared in late September.
Finally, a reminder that real change begins with community participation. The City of Miami holds two commission meetings every month, and our newly formed Commission Task Force is helping ensure that Edgewater’s voice is always in the room.
🗓 Join us on August 18th at 6PM for a Zoom kick-off session to learn more about the task force, how to get involved, and what’s ahead.

We will have more events in the second half of the year, stay tuned for our announcements!
Change doesn’t happen in silence. It happens when you show up. Let’s finish the year strong, together.
