This month, the Biscayne Neighborhood Association is proud to highlight the addition of two impactful new members, strengthening both our institutional and commercial representation in a meaningful way. Welcoming organizations that directly support community health, safety, and quality of life is always significant—and adding these members together underscores the BNA’s continued growth and relevance within the Biscayne and Edgewater neighborhoods.

We are pleased to welcome Care Resource as a new institutional member. Care Resource provides comprehensive medical care for individuals of all ages, including routine health check-ups, physical examinations, immunizations, wellness screenings, chronic disease management, and patient education. Their approach emphasizes personalized care tailored to each patient’s unique needs, with coordinated referrals for specialized services such as neurology and nutrition. With health centers in Fort Lauderdale, Miami Beach, Little Havana, and Midtown Miami, Care Resource ensures accessible, high-quality care across South Florida. Services are offered in English, Spanish, and Haitian Creole, with a sliding fee scale based on household income and family size, reinforcing their commitment to inclusive and equitable healthcare. Additional services include pediatric care—such as well-child visits, immunizations, and adolescent behavioral health referrals—as well as women’s healthcare, including well-woman care, Pap smears, breast cancer screenings, and obstetrical referrals.

We are also excited to welcome Structurally Sound Contractors (SSC) as a new commercial member. Built on the core values of truth, transparency, and trust, SSC brings a strong community-focused mission to the Biscayne neighborhood. As an occupied-space specialist, SSC is experienced in performing complex structural and repair work while buildings remain fully operational. Through careful planning, clear communication, and thoughtful execution, their team prioritizes minimizing disruption to residents while delivering high-quality, lasting results. Each project reflects a collaborative approach that strengthens buildings, preserves daily life, and leaves residents feeling safer, more confident, and proud of their environment—an alignment that makes SSC a valuable addition to the BNA community.
