At the Biscayne Neighborhoods Association (BNA), excellence isn’t just a goal — it’s our ongoing commitment to the community we serve. As we look ahead, we are thrilled to welcome the next generation of leadership at the BNA. Please join us in celebrating the addition of two outstanding new board members.

She will be serving on the BNA Board with the role of Secretary.

Patricia is also deeply committed to philanthropy, having served on the board of the South Florida Center for Independent Living and founded The Inspirational Project – Your Upward Journey. Additionally, she is also the Founder and CEO of Petit Espace, a company supporting people understand their self-awareness, world awareness, and relationships. Fluent in English, Portuguese, and Spanish, she brings a wealth of legal expertise and a strong spirit of service to our community.

She is proud to be a resident of the Charter Club, and we are excited to have her energy and passion at the BNA.

Meet Ana Paula Nery

Ana Paula is a strategic digital product and business leader with over 15 years of experience leading transformation initiatives for Fortune 500 companies such as Fidelity Investments, Capital One, and GEICO. She is joining the BNA as a Director.

Beyond her impressive corporate career, Ana is passionate about grassroots community-building. She is the founder and manager of the Edgewater Life WhatsApp group, connecting over 700 neighbors, and runs the @EdgewaterSocial Instagram page, promoting local events and businesses. Patricia and Ana represent the core pillars of the BNA: professionalism, passion, diversity, and a deep love for community. We are honored to welcome them to the BNA Board of Directors and excited to see all the ways their leadership will help us grow and thrive.

Over the past few years, two exceptional leaders — Laura Luder and Cristina Maria Lloyd — have been instrumental in building the strong, connected community we enjoy today. As they now step down from their roles on the BNA Board, we want to express our heartfelt gratitude for their dedication, passion, and service. Their impact will be felt for years to come, and they will always remain an important part of the BNA family.

The BNA’s future is bright — and it’s only getting better from here. Stay connected as we continue working to enhance, advocate for, and celebrate the wonderful neighborhoods we all call home.

Together, we are stronger. Together, we are the BNA.
